Red Hat is a formidable company ($6.5B+ in revenue). I enjoyed talking about the parallels between Red Hat and Chainguard at the @chainguard_dev offsite in Nashville this week alongside @lorenc_dan, @SaiVC_ , and @andrew__reed.

I'm interested in an AI-powered internal ticketing system (e.g. next-gen ServiceNow). Several IT/security leaders have mentioned this to me. I'm curious who is building here.

Two things I'm hearing consistently from founders: 1) With AI, more value is being captured at the app layer than in infra, and 2) In infra, technical moats are diminishing, and execution is becoming more important.

Grateful that 2024 brought us conditional writes in S3 and hybrid search as mainstream. Excited for 2025. Happy new year from us!
