Almost went with this branding for Elements. Once you see `el-dropdown` you can’t unsee it 😄
Elements – our love letter to the modern web – is finally out! Definitely go read that post! (co-authored by yours truly 😇) We've been knee deep in web platform APIs in the past months, let me share some of my impressions with you all:
✨ We just shipped vanilla JS support for Tailwind Plus! Every single UI block is now fully functional, interactive, and accessible, even if you're just grabbing the plain HTML examples.

After all the positive responses to this tweet of mine about Starlink, I decided to give it a try. Been on it for three days — and it's been going great. Until now 😭
Hey folks using Starlink — do you like it? How reliable is it? Are video/screen share calls solid? My experience with it to date is that it's great if you don't have other options (ie. in a rural area), but it still doesn't feel the same as a fibre/DSL connection.
✨ Fully declarative, HTML-driven command palette, with no custom JS, and no framework. Works everywhere, no matter how you like to build your apps. Just one small part of a big release coming this week 🫣
Our team has been really busy working on this, and I'm thrilled that we're soon going to have an awesome JavaScript solution for our "plain HTML" (non-React/Vue) components in Tailwind Plus! 🌮 We even have all our command palette examples working with it — even tricky ones like…
No React? No problem. Unstyled, accessible UI primitives like dropdowns, dialogs, tabs, and more, that work anywhere, with no framework, are coming very soon to Tailwind Plus ✨ Just a <script> tag away 🙌🏻

Currently planning a 250+ meter trench on my property to run power (with a fiber return) so I can get line of sight to my point-to-point wireless provider's tower—because they're decommissioning the one I’m currently on. Living in the country is amazing, but everything is hard 😅

We recently updated the radio groups and switches (toggles) in Tailwind Plus to no longer require Headless UI, but instead just use plain HTML elements. This is now possible with the addition of modern CSS features like `:has()`. So nice to just use the native web ✨
Looks like the Inertia.js site design I put together all the way back in 2019 (😮!) is finally going to be retired — excited for what's next! 🙌
We're working on big improvements to the @inertiajs docs! In the meantime we've added some quick wins to help AI understand Inertia better: inertiajs.com/llms.txt inertiajs.com/llms-full.txt You can now also add ".md" to any docs URL for Markdown: inertiajs.com/pages.md
I'm really excited about Tailwind Plus right now! Our team has been heads down for the last two months working on one of our biggest updates to our components to date. And, no, sorry, it's not adding Vue support — but it's basically just as good as that! Stay tuned! 🫣
We're working on a new Tailwind CSS course, and it's going to be packed with lots of juicy designs 👀
Putting together a few demos for a new Tailwind course we're working on 🎓
