July 24@approx 1:40 am Thompson #rcmpmb responded to possible stabbing at a residence on Ashberry Pl. Upon arrival, EMS was treating an unresponsive female, who died at the scene. 31yo Tammy James was arrested on scene & charged with Manslaughter. Investigation continues.

July 26, Oakbank #rcmpmb responded to report of a single plane crash in the RM of Springfield. RCMP, fire and EMS all attended and located wreckage of a small, single-engine aircraft, south of Oakbank. Body of an adult male recovered on scene, no other occupants.TSB investigating

July 24, 2025, 9p.m., MFNPS reports: Byron Roulette, 26, has escaped from police. Last seen in the 500 block of 5th St SE in Portage la Prairie. He is handcuffed, shirtless, has bloodstains on his shoes, and is wearing gray-brown shorts. If you see him, do not approach, call 911

On July 17, 2025, the #rcmpmb in Stonewall and Gimli made an arrest after several reports of theft. Russel Mitchell, 47, of Winnipeg, was arrested and charged. He has been remanded into custody. Thank you to the public for their assistance and for quickly providing information.

July 23, 2025, 1:48 am, West Interlake #rcmpmb stopped a vehicle for speeding @ 157 km/h on Hwy 6. Officers seized meth, cell phones, approx. $20,000 and drug paraphernalia. The driver, 44 yo fem from Wpg, was fined and charged for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
