The Rape Gang Inquiry
@rapeganginquiry
What happened, how did it happen, why was it allowed to happen?
It's been over a month since Starmer announced the national inquiry into the Pakistani rape gangs. Where is the progress? We are calling for a monthly update to Parliament from @jessphillips. The process must be transparent.

Thank you to Labour MP @MarieRimmer for taking the time to meet with survivors at our Rape Gang Inquiry event in Parliament. It was sincerely appreciated by all.

A huge thanks to @EstherMcVey1, who sits on our panel, for speaking at our event in Westminster earlier this week. Her support and advice has been invaluable for our inquiry.

In less than 9 hours our movement has forced parliamentarians to face up to the Rape Gang scandal - to address the failures of state, to discuss the cowardice which permeated our public bodies. Our movement is going to deliver change and ensure justice for the Rape Gang victims.

Through our rape gang inquiry’s investigations so far, one of the biggest criticisms we have is data. The sheer, astounding lack of data from councils, police forces, government departments and more. Nobody knows anything about the rapists. It is absolutely shocking. They don’t…

Our research has shown that data collection on the rape gangs is absolutely woeful. They have refused to accept the truth, or even look for it. Sign our petition to force Government to collect and publish nationality/ethnicity data on the rapists. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7306…
Today we have launched our petition into the mandatory collection/publication of nationality, religion, ethnicity and immigration status data on the rape gangs. This is vital data that has been hidden from the British people. Please sign and share. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7306…
A huge thanks to Susan Hall, @Councillorsuzie, and @AndrewRosindell who both attended our event in Parliament yesterday - meeting with survivors from London. Sadiq Khan refuses to answer questions on rape gangs in the capital. This is unacceptable from the London mayor.

At yesterday’s emotional meeting, I heard from rape gang survivors from across Scotland. The national inquiry must be extended to include Scotland - and give victims the justice they deserve. Thank you to @RupertLowe10 for organising and inviting MPs from all parties.
Thank you to John Lamont MP, @John2Win, for attending our event in Parliament yesterday. John spoke with Scottish survivors/whistleblowers, and is committed to pushing for the radical change that is required. Thank you, John.
Thank you @RupertLowe10 for the work that you are doing to expose what has happened by driving forward your Rape Gang Inquiry. You have the support and appreciation of so many.
Sixty rape gang survivors and whistleblowers made a huge effort to come into Parliament yesterday. It really mattered to them. No Lib Dem MPs bothered to show. Nor did Reform, SNP or Greens - they were all invited, multiple times. None made the effort. Find the time.
Thank you to John Lamont MP, @John2Win, for attending our event in Parliament yesterday. John spoke with Scottish survivors/whistleblowers, and is committed to pushing for the radical change that is required. Thank you, John.

Yesterday, rape gang victims from across the country met MPs in Parliament to highlight their injustices. They included women from London, who spoke to me emotionally about their sexual abuse and their anger at Sadiq Khan for disgustingly ignoring them. They deserve justice.
Thanks to @_RobbieMoore, MP for Keighley and Ilkley, for speaking at our event. Robbie has done excellent work on the rape gangs, and we thank him for his contribution yesterday. There are determined people in Parliament who want to see change. Robbie is one of them.

Our message to the Labour Government on their inquiry? Get on with it. Thank you for your support, @GavinWilliamson.
