it’s clear that marvel lost all regard for filmmaking and just fully leaned into the theme park ride aspect because they have been filming glup shitto audience clapping moments for 3 months now without a full script not knowing if they will even make sense
Looking at this kinda thing i understand why Gunn keeps emphasizing he wants scripts done before films are made. Idk how the biggest movie franchise in the world is just flying by the seat of their pants praying everything works out.
this is saying that the native heritage is in fact evil and superman is good so being an “alien” shouldn’t define him.
nobody's heritage should intrinsically define them, it should be their choice Clark's speech is him saying that despite his alien nature, he's as human as anyone, bc of his shared experiences. That's verbatim. Did you watch the movie?
just give hte marvel license to jada toys
Diamond select died and now we have actually good invincible figures
why can’t you guys grasp that taking the inmigrant allegory as a base means clark (not kal) is basically saying that being human (american) is what makes him good.
It was not an unnecessary speech; it came as a response to xenophobic undertones from Lex, someone who has dehumanized him throughout the entire film. Clark is allowed to stand on business while also trying to appeal to Lex's humanity

You can see the moment he briefly wondered if maybe he should’ve just kept drinking

i'm so glad i still haven't watched d&w and probably never will. my integrity is made of steel.
i think i’m gonna start animating all my spider-man swinging shot ideas..
i think spider-man should be even MORE influenced by skateboarding actually. it’s a staple of new york, an urban, youth, underdog culture. it’s just natural for the character. idk why spider-man’s swinging in film isn’t inspired by skate videos and photography yet actually.
