You are always free to bet against physics if you are willing to learn physics the hard way. Atom bombs went from zero to 20kT yield in only a few short years. Shor will go from zero to ECC-256 in about 24 months when it starts. Same kind of threshold phenomenon.

Very good takes. There will be at least two PQC forks, one where the old coins are locked and one where they aren't. But the public keys are still out there in both cases, so we are kind of sure that Satoshi's private keys will be recovered one day. Who will get them first?…
