There are questions that could be asked about Starmer’s understanding of modern comms.
Exclusive: Keir Starmer has hired a former editor of The Sun to one of the most senior government communications roles. David Dinsmore has won the race for the newly created position of permanent secretary for communications. Comes with Labour’s success at keeping voters on…
Here they are. #TomLehrer tomlehrersongs.com/index/
You know he made all his songs freely available on his website?
It seems another world now. But I'm glad to have been reminded of it.
27 July 2012. The spectacular Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics took place in the Olympic Stadium in London. It was directed by Academy Award-winning British film director, Danny Boyle. Newspaper reviews praised it as a “masterpiece” and “a love letter to Britain”.
A wise and nourishing ministry from our Friend Adrian at Meeting this morning on what he's learned about action: ",,,to think before I act and to pray before I think."
#FuelPoverty Disabled people are often high energy users using equipment needed to stay alive, charging power wheelchairs etc for independence, needing to wash clothes & bedding due to soiling. Energy debt is a huge problem which causes further distress
#FuelPoverty Friend of mine mum who is 73 disabled in poor energy efficient social housing getting threatening texts from @BritishGas because of energy debt. Can’t afford £200 direct debit for gas & energy. The energy bills a complete rip off @FuelPovAction @1kilroywashere
This is the best ever true news BBC ever made about Israel, 4 minutes but every minute is extremely important
Read beyond the headlines. BBC News - bbc.co.uk/news/live/ckg4… Israel announces 'tactical pause' to fighting in parts of Gaza and says it will open aid corridors - live updates - BBC News
Gaza isn’t a nation. It’s a blockaded enclave and its 2 millions inhabitants don’t have an airport or ability to leave. Israel has had complete control over it since the 1960s. The ignorance here is astounding.
Israel is the only nation on Earth that is expected to set up a flawless food supply chain to feed a nation they’re at war with
Gazans tell of air drop fears as aid agencies call plan 'grotesque distraction' bbc.co.uk/news/live/cx2l…
Good letter.
I’ve written to the Prime Minister urging him to use Trump’s visit to the UK to push for an end to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
That's a good answer. There's more than enough hate swilling around.
No, I dislike the man and I detest his politics.
To use the gate of Auschwitz as a campaigning prop is a profound moral failure.
No, I dislike the man and I detest his politics.
Donald Trump is the only person who can lean on Israel to stop starving people to death in Gaza. Keir Starmer could convince Trump to do that. They're meeting on Monday, so we don't have long to get the PM to act. Add your name to the open letter now: 38d.gs/jd1a

Will it be a trigger to open up a process or a later move to get a peace settlement over the line? BBC News - French pledge to recognise Palestine is a gamble - so will Starmer follow suit? bbc.com/news/articles/…
What have you to say about Physicians' Assistants being paid more than many Resident Doctors?
Keir Starmer: Resident doctors should break ranks with the BMA leadership. The industrial action that starts on Friday is in no one’s interests and medics should not follow their union down its dangerous and destructive route, he says. thetimes.com/article/3fdcd5…
Mm. That music sheet doesn't make much sense either.
When you have to specify repeatedly what your new party’s name is (or isn’t) you need to hire new PR. It’s one of the few things the neolibs/cons get correct over the left time and time again. The left needs Alistair Campbells, not launches that border on parody.
Hope needs somewhere to land. Maybe the Corbyn/Sultana initiative can be that place. But there's a good deal to consider here. taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/07/2…
