nobody can tell me not to overreact to summer league ever again, I am basically just being a prudent GM
Dalton Knecht’s trade value took a massive hit after the Summer League, and teams around the league no longer view him as a first-round pick, per @jovanbuha “Summer League has not helped Knecht’s stock, and I don’t think at this point he is valued as a first-round pick, in…

Interest in Ben Simmons.
@Gambo987 didn’t you rule out Ben Simmons?
Still the best medium to talk basketball & Mike/Sam still the best doing it in the Suns space. Appreciate them letting me hijack their pod to get some thoughts off my chest!

Stein and Gambo fighting about the most boring possible thing anyone has ever reported about.
Gotta let him be Brad! (unless it’s too cold)
“If you have Brad Beal on your team, you have to let him be Brad Beal. Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense and you’re not getting the best version of him. That’s what I think is going to happen here with the Clippers.” - Bradley Beal’s agent Mark Bartelstein (Via @MarkG_Medina /…
I’ve already threatened to figure out rim deterrence stats for Summer League.
Couple possessions this past week when a Suns opponent gets toward the basket, is stopped by Maluach waiting there and then the possession just dies. That is the presence he can bring.
And by the way waiving and stretching him is a mistake. I know everyone wants the day to celebrate him being gone, but compounding mistakes by adding dead money to the cap for the entirety of Devin Booker's prime (mostly to save on tax money) will prove to be a bad decision.
Hindsight and all, but trading for Brad was such a massive and debilitating mistake that will haunt the Suns for years.
