Bryan Kohberger spoke to police after his arrest. When they started asking more questions, he ended the interview. They say he was calm and relaxed.
Moscow Police say they worked tirelessly to look at any social media connection between Kohberger and the victims and surviving roommates. To this day, they haven't found anything.
But now Moscow Police say the K bar knife was the only murder weapon.
Kaylee's mother elaborates on what Alivea said in court today. They say a second weapon was used. "Kaylee was not just stabbed. There were other things that happened."

Outside the courthouse, Maddie Mogen's stepfather is speaking again. "His fate is sealed, society is protected and we can move on with our lives and continue to heal. We remain lost without her, but we will find our way."

Kaylee's brother came out to the microphone outside the courthouse and gave his victim impact statement that he did not read in court. He was very critical of prosecutor Bill Thompson and his decision to move forward with the plea deal.
Judge Hippler says continuing to focus on the "why" gives Kohberger the power he craves. And even if he speaks, how can anyone be assured what he speaks would be the truth.
“I respectfully decline,” says Bryan Kohberger, when asked if he will give a statement.
You can hear crying as the prosecutor reads off the charges and sentences against Kohberger - showing the victims’ photos and saying their names one by one.
The victim impact statements have concluded. Prosecutor Bill Thompson is now at the podium.

Xana's father and aunt are the next speakers. You can tell how hard all of this has been on them. It's just awful.
