On the final day of her art exhibition in @CaerphillyLib , the talented Олеся Міфтахова presented two gifts. One painting is on display in the library. The painting in my hand has made its way to the Council offices in Ty Penallta.

Caerphilly Castle is re-opening on Saturday 19th July. @cadwwales @WelshGovernment have worked in partnership with ourselves @CaerphillyCBC to bring about these big changes, which will help to boost visitor numbers to this iconic landmark.
It was a pleasure to be at Caerphilly Castle earlier today for a look around, prior to the public opening this weekend. The investment in the castle is a key plank of the Caerphilly 2035 programme. We're aiming to bring many more visitors to Caerphilly.

On Friday 4th July the blue plaque commemorating the austin Pedal Car factory at Tir-y-Beth (Bargoed) was unveiled. Great team effort with @AustinPedalCars @CaerphillyCBC @ITVWales and the local primary school. Prout to help honour this amazing factory - home of the Austin J40!
