"The Colours of the Earth" is from a few years back but continues to be popular as a greetings card. More patchwork landscapes coming soon. Sign up to my email list for first pick (in footer of every website page) #painting #landscapeart #patchwork rebecca-vincent.co.uk/product-page/t…

TALL one! Steward of the Valley: This lone habitation seems to command the whole landscape. Would you like to live here? The rolling hills stretch into the distance with patterned fields suggestive of patchwork. A twin to Promised Land. Prints available rebecca-vincent.co.uk/product-page/s…

One of a series of #nightskies I've made with monotype techniques. Any keen star gazers out there? Some parts of #Northumberland have been designated #darkskies areas. I hope to go to the observatory at Kielder sometime. My stars are somewhat randomised with scattered chalk dust

Introducing 'Sky Flame', a new original monotype. Now sold, this is part of the new series featured in my blog post. The lone tree in this piece not only gives life and interpretation but also lends an air of determination. Prints can be ordered. rebecca-vincent.co.uk/single-post/re…

See the Light: The sun is breaking out from behind the clouds on this one. We often marvel at that effect on cloudy days - like a miracle. It seems to lift the spirits and give a sense of hope and transcendence in difficult times. #coast rebecca-vincent.co.uk/twitter-welcome

On Cloud Nine: expressive skies. In this series of landscape monotypes, I was aiming to create skies with a brooding but beautiful light with plenty of energy and vitality that remind us of real sunsets & sunrises . Nine original landscapes now available rebecca-vincent.co.uk/single-post/ex…

I've been reimagining Bamburgh Castle with a new monotype approach—layering bold skies, experimenting with textures, and letting the process lead me somewhere unexpected. Working in a series let me refine and reimagine, each piece something new. See more: rebecca-vincent.co.uk/single-post/ba…

Love Birds: Working with a loose theme of formal gardens, slowly but surely, this composition took shape. A peacock & peahen inhabit the time worn beauty of an old wall. Is the climber Virginia Creeper or Boston Ivy? Original sold, prints can be ordered rebecca-vincent.co.uk/single-post/bi…

"In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful." Alice Walker. Incandescence limited edition signed print #sunset rebecca-vincent.co.uk/product-page/s…

In the Groove: remembers #sycamoregap, that was brutally cut down. I've re-worked this composition a number of times - it's simple symmetry gives plenty of scope for exciting pattern-making. These textures incorporate impressions of textured materials with layers of colour.

High Stand: apparently this means an interval during which the sea level was above the edge of a continental shelf #geology which is a good connection for this little etching. A stand can also be an aggregation of trees in a specific area #LakeDistrict rebecca-vincent.co.uk/twitter-welcome

Sea, sky, sand and seedheads, what could be better? I've always loved that moment when you're on the way to the beach, excitement building, and you get your first glimpse of the sea and the inviting sand. rebecca-vincent.co.uk/product-page/h… #hiddensands #neartist #landscapeartist

"Heaven On Earth" is the latest in my series of patchwork landscapes. It seems to have a child's view of the landscape with the curving striped fields and distant sea. rebecca-vincent.co.uk/product-page/h…

This powerful composition centres on the light glimpsed through a sea arch - a favourite motif of mine. In fact, Bow Fiddle Rock is a real place near Portknockie off the north-east coast of Scotland. Have you visited before? Guiding Light - rebecca-vincent.co.uk/product-page/b… #neartist

With "Gateway" I aimed to create a balanced rhythm of intersecting shapes of headlands that lead the eye towards the horizon. The sea arch makes a natural focus and I made sure the brightest area of the image was right behind it. #outerhebrides rebecca-vincent.co.uk/twitter-welcome

This is as close as I get to a Valentine's card! Two lovely gannets with their soft markings are engaging in their characteristic mating ritual whilst teetering on a cliff edge! "Falling in Love" greetings card available. #valentine rebecca-vincent.co.uk/product-page/g…

This lone tree returns to the “North Yorkshire” palette I developed a couple of years ago. These colours suggest heather, moss, rocks and reference a limestone pavement. The craggy sky line suits a lonely tree defiant against the elements! rebecca-vincent.co.uk/twitter-welcome

Rather than a specific coastline, this image is about the joy and anticipation of approaching the sea and moving through the varied flowers and grasses along the way. rebecca-vincent.co.uk/product-page/b…

I attended a mixed-media painting course @Lund_Studios where I explored still life subjects using acrylics, collage, and crayons. The process encouraged playful experimentation, resulting in works like my "Still Life with Pumpkin" series. Read more: rebecca-vincent.co.uk/single-post/st…

Another tall one - click to reveal! The sky took on a life of it's own - the land below picks up the colours of the sky; the detail and solidity working as a foil to the expanse of sky. rebecca-vincent.co.uk/product-page/f… #neartist #artistonline #artworkforsale
