Proud to share this newly released special issue of @LongwoodsNotes highlighting the past, present and future of #publicengagement in Canadian health policy…the culmination of a productive collaboration with a fabulous team supported by @MacFutureCanada longwoods.com/publications/h…
Receiving an award is lovely, but awkward. Having someone talk about you in front of a room full of colleagues will never not be weird to me. Nevertheless, I am grateful that @CharleyWillison was the one to do it. I was honored by the genuinely kind words she shared tonight.
So honored to share this public engagement award with @povertyscholar. Even nicer to receive this award from my friend @sarahgollust, who held back on the zingers suggested by @EGolberstein
I'm currently editing a special issue of @JHPPL on Medicaid's 60th anniversary. Several articles--by Colleen Grogan, Andrea Campbell, @povertyscholar-- examine Medicaid's evolution, policy feedbacks, and its capacity to serve as a vehicle for political organizing & mobilization.

My deep sense of foreboding only deepens.
I could not be more excited about @diasmega8 working with me @CornellBPP & I know that @cornellgov will also benefit from her presence on campus. Wins all around!

🔁 A policy feedback loop = The concept that policy is both the result of politics & also something that affects politics. @povertyscholar on how policy design choices & existing political constraints create & limit the possibilities for policy feedback: rooseveltinstitute.org/publications/p…
Congrats to @APSAtweets Health Politics & Policy award winners! I am especially glad to see @CharleyWillison receive well deserved recognition as an emerging scholar. And of course, I'm honored to be recognized alongside @haroldpollack as a leader on the public engagement front.

Didn't get to read the new pub I posted about a few weeks back? Here's the Cornell write-up that encapsulates the findings in a nutshell: news.cornell.edu/stories/2024/0…
