I am saddened to hear of yesterday’s passing of Donald Rose - the UK’s oldest Second World War veteran, who passed at the astonishing age of 110.
Jack lost both his legs when he was injured by a blast whilst serving in Afghanistan. "I had to relearn everything – how to shower, drive a car with adaptations, use the toilet. Blesma was there for me right from the start and has been really helpful ever since." 🫡🫡

Tomorrow is 1st July 2025 Our young men from all over Ulster on 1st July 1916 went over the top at 7 30 am when the whistles blew thousands were mowed down,killed or injured.We will never forget their sacrifice and they will always be in our hearts for generations to come.
