BREAKING: Sources tell me that 60 (so far) Liberals MP’s will sign a letter asking for Trudeau to resign. This is about 40% of the party. The closed door liberal caucus meeting continues this hour.
HAPPENING NOW: The Liberal National Caucus meeting today at 5pm will be IN PERSON and will not be able to be viewed via ZOOM.
HAPPENING NOW: Trudeau will be attending Rideau Hall for a swearing in of the new Finance Minister at 4pm EST today. Dominic Leblanc will be the new Minister of Finance my sources at Radio-Canada confirm.
BREAKING NOW: Trudeau will likely NOT be resigning tonight. There is a national caucus meeting at 5pm EST. There is still the expectation that Trudeau is considering resigning and proroguing but the decision & announcement will be if later this week, if it happens.
