Tarik Skubal has 7 outings this year where he struck out 10+ batters while walking no more than 1. Only 16 other pitchers have at least 2 of these performances this season.

I have no words.
Dave Kingman was a better home run hitter than Bonds. Kingman would’ve broke all the HR records if he roided up like Bonds or used a corked bat like Sosa
Happy 54th Birthday, Billy Wagner: 7X All-Star 903.0 Innings Pitched .187 Batting Average Against 0.998 WHIP 1.106 Strikeouts 422 Saves Enters the Hall of Fame on Sunday. Hell of a birthday present.

There have been only eleven instances this season where a pitcher has thrown over 110 pitches in a game. Chris Sale is the only pitcher to surpass 110 pitches in a game twice.

Nate Thurmond was able to steal 15 first place MVP votes from Wilt Chamberlain in 1967, the year Wilt led the NBA in assists while averaging 24.1 points per game and 24.2 rebounds per game. Thurmond was that special.

Nate Thurmond was born on this day in 1941. Thurmond gets lost in NBA history due to the enormous shadow cast by Russell, Chamberlain, Reed, and Kareem, but he is an all-time great. He averaged EXACTLY 15.0 PPG and 15.0 RPG for his career. He recorded the first official…

Javier Vázquez is the greatest pitcher from Puerto Rico in MLB history 🇵🇷 Among Puerto Rican baseball players, he ranks: 1st in strikeouts 1st in wins 1st in innings pitched

Happy 49th Birthday, Javier Vázquez. As a kid growing up in the late 1990s/2000s, Vázquez was a favorite of mine. He struck out 200+ batters in five different seasons and was always good for 200+ innings. No, he does not belong in the Baseball HOF, but he does stack up pretty…

You can hate everything about Barry Bonds and still not live in denial.
HGH is proven to improve eye sight, hand-eye coordination and muscle recovery so yes, it is like magic and we all saw the results. Give Mays, Aaron or any number of guys HGH, we'd see records Bonds couldn't even fathom. We have to stop glorifying cheaters!! Even on their bday!
Joey Votto against some four first basemen who never really got remotely close to Cooperstown.
If you’re following me, odds are you really love baseball. That being said, I’d love to know the consensus—do you think Joey Votto is a Hall of Famer?
Barry Bonds in 2004 at the age of 39: .362 BA .609 OBP .812 SLG 1.422 OPS 263 OPS+ 135 Hits 232 Walks If you loaded up any hitter in baseball history with PEDS at the age of 39, I don't know if they are reaching these numbers. PEDs are not magic. Bonds was an absolute monster.
Karl Malone shot under 45% from the field in 18 different playoff series throughout his NBA career. Yikes.

Barry Bonds holds the record for the most intentional walks in a single season with 120. Only 97 other players have recorded 120+ intentional walks during their entire MLB careers.

The 1980 NBA Draft was one of the weaker drafts in NBA history. Only Kevin McHale (#3 Overall) ended up in the HOF. Joe Barry Carroll (#1 Overall) and Darrell Griffith (#2 Overall) combined to make one all-star team. Kelvin Ransey and James Ray rounded out the top 5.

The race to 40 home runs continues. The Big Dumper has the edge, but Judge and Ohtani are not far behind. All three poised to hit 50+ home runs this year. Note: PCA is allergic to walks.

Barry Bonds holds the MLB record for most intentional walks in a career with 688. Albert Pujols, who drew the second most intentional walks, stands at 316. Percentage-wise, I don't think you are going to find a larger gap between 1st and 2nd across any record in sports.

The three greatest hitters in MLB history. Nothing really more to be said and yes, it is ok to just stare at those numbers and marvel.

Happy 61st Birthday, Barry Bonds: 7X MVP 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 8X Gold Glove 🤯 12X Silver Slugger 🤯🤯 14X All-Star 🤯 162.8 WAR 🤯🤯🤯 762 Home Runs 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 2,558 Walks 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 688 Intentional Walks 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 514 Stolen Bases 🤯🤯 Career .444 OBP with a 182 OPS+ 🤯🤯🤯

Hell of a source. I need my fact checkers to look into this.
In fact, I went to middle school with Alan Ashbys daughter and she explicitly stated to me that Jeff Bagwell was on steroids and kept them in his locker
