Sat 26 July 2025 I document several bald eagle nests in Delta BC 🇨🇦 this nest I was sure would fail, built in the burnt trees of the tilbury wildfire of a few years ago, along hwy 17, no shade, exposed to the elements - but look! Baby bald eagle is thriving 🥰❤️🦅🇨🇦Great news!

Look everyone! Look!! Canada Geese! Lots & lots flying over my head at Roberts bank, Delta BC Canada early Saturday morning 26 July 2025. And wait for the end - pelicans! What joy! I'll always fight to save this IBA (Important Bird Area) - we need to protect these wild places.

I have to show you all something - I saw this puddle on my walk - under the tall Douglas fir tree (I thought someone had to go p urgently 🤣) but then I took another look - it was not wet but firm - it was gum oozing out in a big puddle of very sticky stuff! 😄 delta BC 🇨🇦

Ok, here’s an unusual post. There was no wind, and all these starlings were lined up chattering away, so stuck my camera on the tripod and filmed. 😄
