placard corruption
@placardabuse
#placardcorruption Report to 311 & tweet it out. Press your elected officials. Stop the corruption before it grows into something worse. NYC deserves better!
If you want to see some full-blown corruption, look no further than "AccessibleNYPD," the @NYPDnews's fake compliance plan for the Americans with Disabilities Act. This requires federal intervention @CivilRights @TheJusticeDept. Thread below.

Oh, you know, just using a @NYPDnews placard that expired more than a year ago to park illegally in a location where it's illegal to use a placard. #PlacardCorruption #NYPDinsurrection

Have some #NYPDlaundry? Go ahead and park illegally in a No Standing zone. @NYPDTransport won't mind at all if you do. #CultureOfCorruption

.
Such BS. Take a look around Ft Pitt on LES. The graft and placard abuse is unbelievable
This Mercedes was using a @NYPDnews #TheftVest to park illegally on the sidewalk. #CultureOfCorruption

We see your underlings out here, @JohnMChell, misusing @NYPDnews resources under your "leadership" to make sure that only the "right" people are getting away with breaking the law. #CultureOfCorruption #NYPDinsurrection #NYPDcriminals

It's disturbing, but not surprising, that harassing messages were sent to us mere minutes after this 311 complaint was closed by the @NYPDMTN, along with a photo of a person that was taken off of a security camera in the area. #NYPDcriminals #CultureOfCorruption

There are ways to do this. All legal line of duty site-visit placards should have geolocation and time scan that tech matches up with your job duties for the day. Can manually appeal. Can ease transition via 3years where you choose $5k cash bonus or $5k taxable parking benefit.
If the city was serious about alleviating congestion, parking placards wouldn’t exist
This @NYCSanitation placard is not valid for on-street use. That fact is prominently written right across the top of the placard. That's why the #PlacardPerp hid that part. You can still read "OFF-STREET PARKING ID" in a second location, though. #PlacardCorruption

Sure, go ahead and illegally park on the sidewalk blocking the @NYCTBus stop. We pay you to enforce the law, specializing on transit, so why not break theblaw and trash our transit system, right @NYPDTransit? #PlacardCorruption #CultureOfCorruption

Presumably the illegally parked car with the @NYPDnews placard that was illegally transferred from a different vehicle belonged to the off-duty cop that was leaning on it while working a "paid detail" side job for @nbc. #PlacardCorruption

Parked illegally in a No Standing zone. Because #PlacardCorruption.

This car with an expired @nysdmv safety inspection and its front plate illegally removed was misusing a @NYPDnews placard to park illegally outside of a self enforcement zone. #PlacardCorruption. Lots of corruption.

.
If one were to apply the broken windows theory of policing to the task of addressing police corruption, placard corruption would be the tip of the iceberg when approaching the real corruption.
Wow, did they finally listen to years of complaints and actually get out there to tow a bunch of #PlacardCorruption vehicles off of our streets to clear up our fire hydrants, sidewalks, bus stops, and No Standing zones, @kazdaughtry? Huge if true!
BREAKING: A massive quality of life operation is about to launch. After hearing YOUR complaints on social media, we’re turning promises into ACTION. Our multi-agency task force is mobilizing—right now. You’re about to see drastic quality of life improvements take effect…
This #GhostCar with no front or rear plates and illegally tinted windows was parked illegally on the sidewalk at the @NYPD34Pct. Its @nysdmv safety inspection was expired. But it had a @NYPDnews #TheftVest, so nobody was enforcing any laws here. #CultureOfCorruption
