An unexpected appearance by Rishi Sunak this morning @GMB, standing alongside 99 year old DDay veteran Peter Kent, at a @CWGC launch event in Whitehall. They were sending the #DDay80 torch on a UK tour, helping to ignite interest among young people for the 80th anniversary.
Grateful beyond words for the unwavering support from @CWGC. Their commitment to "People First" isn't just a motto; grate efforts were made to ensure our safety in Egypt. Our hearts still with Gaza and our people, hoping for an end to the conflict soon. 🙏 #PeopleFirst @dgcwgc
