Here is an unfortunate yet very accurate one on Texas’ attendance based formula for school funding @GregAbbott_TX Ironically, if ESAs pass, they won’t be attendance based…@RepJamesFrank @HagenbuchTX #oneofsix

Let's get this shared as much as possible today.
Please review this brief letter to our Texas legislators and sign on if you agree. The letter voices an opposition to Texas HB3's socialist takeover of private education. The bill is not conservative. Texas should be limiting government, not expanding it. graysoncountyconservatives.com/HB3/
ISDs are receiving the same funding from the state since 2011, despite more students and inflation. Let that sink it. The state’s contribution hasn’t increased in 14 years.
Paul Colbert, a former Texas House member and education budget chair - and maybe one of the few people in Texas who truly understand school finance —testified at the House Public Ed committee on Thursday. Colbert blew apart the narrative being pushed by Gov Abbott and @TPPF that…
“Comptroller’s name comes up 84 times.”
🚨 Voucher Scam Alert! 🚨 The Texas House just dropped House Bill 3, and here’s the first red flag: 🚩If school vouchers are so popular, why does HB3 include taxpayer money for TV commercials to sell it? Spoiler: It’s a scam to funnel public dollars into private hands. 📢 If…

🏆 CHAMPIONSHIP ALERT! The Dunkin Dogs are your new Bi-District Champions after defeating Fort Worth Southwest 69-61! Another trophy for the case as our Dogs continue their dominant season! #DunkinDogs #NPH
Pay attention, Texas…
Under Florida’s universal school voucher program, vouchers are insufficient for tuition at pricey private schools but enough to make a nice tuition supplement for children from wealthy families. tampabay.com/news/education…
Did you let everyone know you bought thousands of charter school licenses to make profit off Texas’s taxpayers? Billionaires always want a return on their political investments. Trust me, I know. I live in #TX38 my rep isn’t neighbor friendly, just donor friendly. #txed…
I hope Dustin Burrows passes school choice in Texas to give kids a chance. If kids only have one school option and it’s bad, then it’s like they never had a chance at all.

Why are our public schools failing? And more importantly, who is holding Abbott-appointed TEA Commissioner Mike Morath accountable for the disastrous outcomes under his leadership? Morath has held his position since 2016—long enough to completely reshape the Texas Education…
We desperately need campaign reform in the political realm! Whether it is true or not, there looks to be many individuals, PACs, etc, trying to gain political favor in Texas.
Please explain to me why as a practicing physician, I cannot accept so much as a pen from a pharmaceutical COMPANY out of concern that it might adulterate or influence my decision-making, and yet politicians can take millions in campaign contributions from the same COMPANIES and…
Please pay close attention to what government school choice brings and the price tag that comes along with it…
Lots of truth in a meme. “School choice” is a government takeover of private school and homeschool. The proof is in SB2. - mandatory testing - student data mining - a clause empowering unelected bureaucrats to create new regulations without legislative oversight - a new…
A good read on “school choice.” “If education dollars truly belonged to parents, wouldn’t non-parents be exempt from school taxes?” @brianeharrison
❌ “Let the money follow the child” sounds like an empowerment slogan—until you realize… Your taxes. Their tuition. 👉👉 Tax dollars don’t belong to individual parents; they fund a system controlled by the government, and the government decides who gets the money. 📣…
We desperately need campaign finance reform. It is a terrible look for politicians. This is exactly why many people believe that they (regardless of which party) are bought and paid for.
Saying it again for the folks who aren’t yet hearing it: Dunn and Wilks are NOT the only donors in TX. You have to look further than that. TX politicians are owned…the TX Republican Party entirely. Please go to the next tweet for Chris’s Substack link to read Part 1. 1/2
Omg, you say flowery words that make voters think you’re on their side but you’re on the side of vendors. You admitted to me that each bill is a vendor bill so you do know you’re just blowing smoke up voters skirts while passing bills for them to fund for vendors….your donors.…
School choice = vendor bills
❌Government school choice programs are vendor bills. Vendors are cashing in on taxpayer dollars, using parents as the delivery mechanism to funnel public funds into their pockets. And who’s lobbying to expand these programs? The same vendors who stand to profit.
Mind blowing how people won’t demand gov fix its schools but it’s ok to make room for that same gov to go into the private sector. The gov school choice “solution” to the problems it created is not the answer.
