We were in the West Bank recently and witnessed firsthand pass-laws, checkpoints, militarised presence in civilian neighbourhoods and police hostilities against innocent civilians.

We did it. We went to Palestine, we listened, we documented, and very soon we will tell the world what we saw.

@pieterkrielorg is currently in Palestine. Some of the footage of Palestine is very sad. A reminder of South Africa during apartheid.
Join the discussion tonight at 19:05 on @SABCNews. Let’s tell it like it is, no conflicts, only a genocide.

This one? Thanks but no thanks, I'd rather brace the elements with my bare Torso then wear certain clothes with certain branding. 🙂 I'm a South African and America doesn't respect SA so you and them can keep your shirts, propaganda shirts.
Pieter Kriel inspires me. A young white South African who speaks out against racial inequality in South Africa, and the need for white people to take responsibility for atrocities of apartheid and colonialism. He is currently in Palestine speaking out against the inhumanity…
Suffering strips you bare. Dignity is what you choose to stand in, when there’s nothing left to wear but pain.
Standing on Palestinian land but shocked to find out that Israeli settlers took over this farmland, built their own homes and planted olive trees right next to a Palestinian home.
I came to Palestine to document crimes against humanity, not take a personal holiday. I was here on official activist work, not for some performative clout-chasing. Something South African keyboard warriors have perfected from the comfort of their couches.
The left has become a beacon of performative words and empty gestures. People suffer and the ‘revolutionaries’ polish their profiles and argue semantics. Very soon, I’ll show the world the truth. Because the left (which I’m part of) has done nothing but perform.
Suffering strips you bare. Dignity is what you choose to stand in, when there’s nothing left to wear but pain.

They have nothing, no freedom, no toys, no future promised, but they still smile wider than kids in mansions.

Bethlehem is a sacred cage, where the world comes to worship a baby born under empire, yet ignores the children growing up under occupation.

I don’t agree with Mandela on everything, far from it. But when he said, “We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians,” he wasn’t wrong. He was dead right.

The Palestinians we’ve met so far live in really tough, heartbreaking conditions, but they’re still the first to help you out, always more worried about others than they are about themselves, there’s something deeply human and beautiful in that.

Today we spoke to many people in Ramallah. The people are kind, loving, welcoming and always willing to help someone in need. We need HUMANITY.
