🎉My qualitative paper on positive body image in autistic folks is finally here! doi.org/10.1016/j.body… Here, we found PBI to encompass both the 'aesthetic' (how the body looks) and 'sensory' body (how the body feels) among autistic adults. #ActuallyAutistic

Do you experience autistic inertia? Are you over 18 and based in the UK? Please consider taking part in a research interview to help us understand how autistic inertia changes over time. For more info and to express an interest: qualtrics.manchester.ac.uk/jfe/form/SV_3a…
My MSc students are conducting an important research project exploring body image and eating behaviours among men. While we know that men can and do struggle with these issues, it remains a topic that is often under-researched and overlooked. exe.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8e…
As part of my MSc dissertation, I’m exploring the risk and protective factors associated with eating disorders in autistic and/or ADHD individuals. I invite you to complete the survey. @Karri_G_Smith lnkd.in/gcPpMs7c #ADHD #AutismAwareness #EatingDisorders #Research
We need more researchers whose reflexivity make them say, "I am not the best person to do this research or to lead this research project, so I am not going to do it." And less of those who do the research anyway despite their ‘limitations’ and try to justify their choice.
