The 2025 Karl Barth-Tagung comes to its end today. It’s been a wonderful chance to share in rich theological conversation with Swiss and German colleagues in this lovely hilltop retreat at Chrishona on the outskirts of Basel.

Making the final ascent on foot to St Chrishona in the hills north of Basel, home for the next few days for the Karl Barth-Tagung, aka Euro Barth Camp. Questions of hope and / in theology provide the theme this year.

Behold the proofs for the T&T Clark Handbook of Modern Theology, all 900+ pages of them. We’re almost there now….
