Law firms are building their own bespoke AI models already
It is insane how prevalent AI already is in the legal world
thinking about that girl on here that said these days “everyone is sexy and no one is erotic”

you gotta treat this self-care shit like the spiritual cousin of smoking a cigarette
Unable to return home, around 20 Gazan patients and their families have been essentially imprisoned within the confines of Israel’s largest hospital for the last 21 months. For @JewishCurrents I wrote about medical hasbara, the destruction of Gaza, Oslo and international law.
20 Gazan families that came to Israel's Sheba Hospital for care before 10/7 have been trapped on its grounds for 21 months. @DiklaTaylor's deep dive explores how medical hasbara masks the destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system—and Israel's obligations under international law.
Most perverted thing you've done is spend a lot of time on those feet
Something something Kant and smelling
I sure did (spoiler: liking smell makes you a pervert 🙃)
the best way to turn a student off of books forever is to try to trick them into thinking that reading is fun. reading is not fun, and if the only reason they are reading is for fun they will stop when they realize the truth.
A good way to get students interested in reading again is to give them higher-level graphic novels, like Persepolis or Blankets. They're hard to SparkNotes! Fun to read! A good bridge to real literature!

Hm @EmoFoucault how do I get that Being in here
Contemporary culture’s vacuity is directly owed to its reproducible and perpetually available quality, intrinsically creating empty cultural output without self-possession. Agamben’s Heideggerian critique of culture is correct - being is no longer at work within art.
Currently recruiting a New York Deleuze Friend to join me and give me Deleuze-Guattarian readings of all the mid art I go see at openings. Don’t have capacity to be that myself atm. Holler if interested.
@pen_keeper's most recent art is even more compelling but I remain extremely proud of my proximity to these
The course art for Alliance, Affinity & Interdependence, Reproduction & Control, Human Origins, and Ecology & Empire
we do have a certificate program for students who wish to take their studies to the next level and want to have more homework and writing assignments. we'll next take a cohort for this in summer of 2027. it's not really publicly advertised, inquire in discord if interested
I have really enjoyed where it’s pushed me intellectually and have high hopes for the future. Do you know if there will ever be homework beyond reading and discussion for the students? It would be tough because of how much reading there is, but it could be interesting.
as someone who is both an adjunct at a university and teaches at one of these institutions i totally agree that we should be in solidarity with one another
I would appreciate one day on this website where leftists don’t celebrate the death of the university. You know what a lot of adjuncts get that Mimbres or BISR don’t offer? A union. Health insurance. Access to university libraries and other resources we need to work.
NYPD claims 18 year old Saniyah Cheatham hanged herself with her sweater within two minutes after Cops later refute the claim, stating it was a medical emergency. Her mother and friends denies her being suicidal and having a sweater at the time of her arrest.
Police first told News 12 that 18-year-old Saniyah Cheatham died by suicide inside of the precinct cell. It later said that it was a “medical emergency,” before calling the death suspicious. bit.ly/4lCLsUc
