Too many Minnesotans feel like the bottom could fall out at any moment. I know what that’s like. My hardworking single mom relied on public schools, public housing, and Medicaid to get us by. That's why I'm running for Senate - to be a loud, clear voice for families like mine.

I took on the issue of paid family leave when my daughter was a baby on my hip. The fight lasted until she was in the fourth grade, but we got it done. Now, it's time to take this fight to the US Senate.

The Supreme Court gave the green light to the Trump administration to continue dismantling the Department of Education, despite ongoing litigation. Let’s be clear: dismantling the Department of Education will harm the most vulnerable students.
