This is kind of like a before & after in relation to the recent wetter spell of weather & verge response in Verwood. Before in the foreground, after in the background. Evidently not all verges are equal, but most now look more like the background.

It's uncanny how well these past 24 hour rainfall estimates align with the anomalously dry versus wet pattern of July's rainfall through 23rd. The difference between SW UK & the rest is growing even larger.
