What a stage today @LeTour truly inspiring. I know we have nothing to offer quite like Ventoux but the spectacle of it coming to the UK in 2027 will be no less amazing. Shame that with the end of @itvcycling coverage so many that could have been inspired won’t get to see it.

And this is why cycling is the best. Struggling to think of any other quite like it. The thought you can just rock up with your bike and your boy and cycle together along or in this case up the exact same route that the legends of yesteryear have ridden before you ❤️

Poignant moment seeing my boy @tjakestewart being interviewed for @itvcycling considering he is doing so as free to view coverage of @LeTour enters the dying embers stage in the UK and yet it was very much the thing that lit the fire within that inspired him to do what he does 😢

Watching this years @LeTour and I can’t help but think that there are 2 riders treating it as a 3 week grand tour vying for overall victory and the rest are treating it as a series of one day races…what a mad beautiful mind bogglingly brutal spectacle it is

Am I alone in thinking BST should be 2 hours ahead of GMT rather the 1 hour we change. GMT through winter is fine but nobody needs it to be daylight at 4 am in the summer. It is however nice sitting out late at night with a glass of wine as we would do on holiday
