For some reason, each new generation either comes to grips with the fallacy of socialism and communism, or they are destroyed. America has somehow been able to turn down the trappings of promising everyone “free stuff”. My hope is that we will once again recognize this trap.
I miss the days when Republicans considered Andrew Cuomo and Jacob Frey the left. Zohran Mamdani and Omar Fateh are going to destroy what good remains of New York City and Minneapolis. Socialism is a disease.
Social Security recipients set to face an $18,000 benefit cut in just 7 years - Axios. Trying to blame the shortfall on big beautiful bill is a joke. We have known for more than a decade that social security will run short by 2034 if Congress doesn’t act. stocks.apple.com/A6xo4FmtdRUqba…
I love that that the younger generation is moving right. I am pretty far right, fiscally and socially. But how you win as a Republican in a left leaning state is different than winning in a right leaning state. Beliefs can be the same, strategies are different.
I’ve tried to point this out to the purple members of @mngop like @paulgazelka . The generations after you are so much further to the right than you can imagine. @Highway_30 gets it, he’s just gotta learn how to speak Minnesotan.
You don’t know what is going on behind the scenes. He is the voice of his narrow majority caucus. He doesn’t get to make executive decisions, he has to build consensus.
For every good thing Johnson does, he screws it up with crap like this.
Too many to count, resulting in massive fraud dollars lost in Minnesota is the result of poor leadership. Leaders like Gov Walz & AG Ellison should not be reelected, rewarding their inability to provide proper oversite. This is basic leadership that neither could do.
Joe Thompson also said that when current investigations are prosecuted and finished, the scope of fraud in Minnesota government programs could exceed $1 billion. kstp.com/kstp-news/top-…
I wish I could help you understand. Of course I want conservatives. But MN leans left. If we don’t have ANY majority or state wide officeholders, we get zero. I would rather have 70% conservative than 100% liberal. All or nothing means you get nothing.
Does this guy care about beliefs or ideology or is it just a game of if the party breakdown charts have more red dots or blue dots? The GOP is so pathetic and embarrassing
The Democrat party keeps moving socialist left. Many Democrats should now become GOP, if you share GOP values. Reagan once was a Democrat. Trump registered as a Democrat as late as 2001. Let’s all stand together against those that want socialism or communism in America.
This is the right approach. Review the Federal Reserve. Every institution can veer off its mission. Shine the light everywhere. Darkness will flee in the light.
Today in a CNBC interview, I called for a review of the Federal Reserve. It is my belief that the central bank should conduct an exhaustive internal review of its non-monetary policy operations. Significant mission creep and institutional growth have taken the Fed into areas that…
I always liked going down to the Stone Arched Bridge as a nice place to take a break when I was the Senate leader. Glad it is reopened.

Bruce Anderson was a quiet gentleman. As Senator, he always stood up for what he believed was right. He played team ball. He wasn’t the loudest voice in the room, but you knew exactly where he stood. RIP my friend.
With great sadness, I must report that Minnesota State Senator Bruce Anderson has passed away. Bruce wore many titles: Husband, father, grandfather, veteran, representative, and senator. But above all, he was a faithful child of God. Rest in peace, my friend.
Vance Boelter’s life before the Minnesota shootings. I have no words. His wife said it best, describing Boelter’s actions as the opposite of what Christian faith teaches. Bizarre beyond comprehension. twincities.com/2025/07/21/van…
I respect people’s right to prefer caucuses for picking candidates. But the system tends to pick unelectable candidates for the GOP. We have not won since 2006. I once felt that was the best approach. But, like the GOP countrywide, I prefer the selection in open GOP primaries.
We have primaries in Minnesota - it's in August.
BREAKING: Abortions in Florida are down 40% this year after the 6-week heartbeat law took effect, saving thousands of lives Huge win for life!
The GOP State Conventions seem tame in comparison. I still think it’s time for open primaries in Minnesota. Most states already have moved that direction.
Last night’s Minneapolis DFL Convention was wild, but at least no one ended up in the hospital like they did in 2023.
Blue collar jobs can be high paying. often the costs to be trained are paid for by the trades. AI will first hit white collar jobs. The trades are definitely worth looking at.

Actually, God cares about private property so much that He not only prohibited stealing, He also banned even *wanting* your neighbor’s stuff: “Thou shall not covet.”
Neither God nor Earth created property rights. Capitalism is man-made fairytale bullshit.
Food for thought. John Adams stated: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
You want to know why most ICE agents wear masks? Assaults against them are up over 800% since Trump took office. Too many people no longer respect govt authority and are willing to be violent against them. foxnews.com/media/trumps-i…
At the very minimum the Capitol should have a security checkpoint and those that carry must notify the security they are carrying. As a legislator that carried, U had to notify the Sargeant of Arms of my intent to do so.

I have been a long time proponent of protecting 2A. I also think that your group is amazing. We happen to disagree on this point. The Capitol is a volatile place. Many people get very upset about a variety of issues. Courthouses already limit firearms.
