It was the previous day to this, that the board of the RQIA, the body responsible for inspecting care homes, resigned.
We need to remember that the Health Minister ceased routine inspections of all care homes. A subsequent judicial review was taken, challenging this decision. On the morning before this was due to be heard in court, on June 23, the DoH reversed its decision.
Coercing some one to take medicine a bad idea ?! Discriminating against someone because of their medical history a bad idea ?! The state forcing people to take medication that could cause adverse effects even death a bad idea ?! You don’t say ?! Really?!Imagine that?!Who knew?!
