I have this happen ALL the time. In fact, a user tried to do this last night on a large item. The response is "NO" Asking to cancel your bid minutes before ending is shady. But also very disrespectful to the seller and the other bidders. Don't let them play that game.
In all my years of selling I’ve never had someone ask to cancel their bid 40 minutes before an auction ends. Card was at 152 and buyer said it was at $150 when he became top bid. I canceled his bid at it went down to $22. @CardPurchaser never been so upset about a buyer!
Bet you could save even more than a quarter mil if you make an offer on everything. 😝
