Enjoyed talking about my new novel for a podcast called ‘What The Austen’ & gave a shout out to the lovely Sanditon fandom. One of the main reasons I stay on Twitter (see how I refuse to call it X). I’ll link you up when it’s ready to roll.
To those readers kindly asking about how to order my novel about Jane Austen & her seaside romance, here's the link: amazon.com/Six-Weeks-Sea-…
Written in a style that honors Austen’s narrative voice, Byrne’s prose dances between the playful and the poignant. Her love for her subject is palpable, but never reverential—Jane is allowed to be flawed, funny, skeptical and hopeful, in other words, quite human!
Grateful.
Curious about a summer romance for Jane Austen? @JournalScene lists SIX WEEKS BY SEA by @paulajaynebyrne as one of its top summer picks! 💘 postandcourier.com/journal-scene/…
Enjoyed reading the afterword for the audiobook of Six Weeks By The Sea. I explain the factual basis of the book, and the invented details. I've always loved the sea, being a Wirral girl, so this novel draws on my own experiences, too. Can't wait for you all to read.
And this is the UK cover. I love both. Which is your preference?
What a lovely cover!

What a bumper year for the genius that is Jane Austen... blackwells.co.uk/bookshop/colle…
Lulworth Cove: a place beloved by Thomas Hardy. En route to a Hardy fundraiser.

Reading Pride & Prejudice, yet again. It never loses its charm. #Austen250

Delighted with this review. Thank you @KirkusReviews @Pegasus_Books @jasnaorg

Willoughby is a very interesting character. To those who say that Jane Austen does not draw men well, I urge you to read carefully Willoughby’s dialogue. He springs to life, in all his glorious selfishness.
If you are able to watch this program, you should! It’s called “Jane Austen: The Unseen Portrait?” where @paulajaynebyrne has experts look at a possible portrait of Austen in her possession. #JaneAusten bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01…
Longevity ran in the Austen family, which makes Jane’s death so unbearably sad. thetimes.com/culture/books/…
Rereading “Atonement” on a hot summer’s day. Much like the day, in the summer of 1935, in which the novel is set. Forgotten how much the novel pays homage to Northanger Abbey. #JaneAusten #Neighbourhoodofvoluntaryspies

Pleased to see my new Jane Austen novel on this list of "Hot Reads for Summer. " countryandtownhouse.com/culture/summer…
