Citizen Advisory: Tidal Road northbound is closed due to an unknown chemical incident. The Harris County Sheriff's Office has also closed the westbound Highway 225 frontage road. CTEH is conducting air monitoring. (1/2)
Wind speeds in the southwest direction, ranging from 2 to 4 mph, indicate that there is no suspected threat to residents. The City of Deer Park is actively gathering more information. Please continue to monitor Deer Park OEM for updates regarding this incident. (2/2)
This week want to highlight the progress happening along the Beltway 8 frontage road. Crews are pouring new concrete on the northbound frontage lanes from Pasadena Blvd. to Red Bluff. Crews will continue to replace pavement between Fairmont and Spencer in the weeks to come.




Our Communications Dept. is on site this week at the Kerrville Emergency Operations Center in Kerr County. Deployment for this mission is being coordinated through the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers.
