Every time, after I take a proper break for a week or so - without screens and internet and all - I'm driven back to analogue media for productivity. Every digital to-do list, calendar, etc. is just a pain to use, and doesn't help me actually think through the events. The slower…

Took the past week off, having as little screen time as possible. Best mental replenisher you can do, honestly. So much on the internet is just made to addict you and exhaust you. Once in a while, I think you should break out of it. Be bored, let the thoughts flow.

I created Fading Serenades out of my reflection of the modern world, and often wanting everything to be a bit slower. There's so much to consume nowadays, but so little to actually enjoy. I think it's going to get worse, still. #ScreenshotSaturday #gamedev

Just create. Something, anything. It doesn't have to be good. It just has to exist. While it makes me happy to see how much I've improved my pixel art over the years, the first image still makes me as happy as the second one!
