@paraplas5
Carlos Alcaraz fan.
As Carlos family had no money to pay for a good coach at 15, IMG paid half of it and Ferrero reduced his honoraries in half to make it happen. Good article with quotes from Carlos agent. relevo.com/tenis/roland-g…
Tennis is such a funny sport, “World Number 1 rehires anti-doping expert who was found partly responsible for his doping violation” and people are acting as if this is normal.
The doping timeline lines up way too perfectly with his monstrous spike in endurance and physicality but the carrot clown cult still clings to the fantasy that their pharmacy fueled golden boy is just some “hardworking angel.” Not surprising, though
Ferrara back with Sinner? What a f***ing joke. Sinner reeks. Same shady people, same doping shit . And we’re just supposed to act like it’s all normal. Disgusting. 🤮 Clean sport? Integrity? Absolute clown show. 💊💊💊👏👏👏 #dopinner
Carlos and the other players needs to take a stand. You cant compete against a cheat. Its useless.
The problem here IS that some people actually believe his "contamination story". Its BS. I pay you off, you lie for me and when this dies down, I will hire you again.
Watch all the tennis journalists tiptoe around this news and ask him a single meek indirect question at his next press conference with no conviction or follow up and let him give a nothing burger answer
I just hope that history remembers Jannik Sinner as the cheater and vile person he truly was.
Sinner is a cheater and he knows he is protected. Lie for me and I will rehire you when the scandal goes away. They truly dgaf.
Guys what if Sinner's puke from Beijing in 2023 was the first side effect?
A real break consist of at least 14 days off with no tennis at all. (Would argue at least 21 days should be the the ideal amount so everyone can recover). A men tennis player offseason consist of a max of 10 days holidays which is insane.
Thats the first time that Carlos has had an extended break in the summer. Last year he had only 5 days and he was on fumes, so I think its the right decision.
Carlos needs to do whatever he needs to be in the right headspace for the tournaments that matter. Atp will learn that they need to schedule a summer break to give the players at least a 21 day window without a big tournament for their mental health.
Carlos not touching his racket until July 28. Giving him a 2 week break to rest up the body. If the ATP dont give them a break, the players will do It for them.
.@carlosalcaraz no jugará en Toronto y volverá a competir en Cincinnati marca.com/tenis/masters-…
The schedule this year is just stupid. 14 days is not nearly enough for a decent break to then finish the season strong.
❌🇪🇸 Carlos Alcaraz has also withdrawn from Toronto 🗣️ marca.com/tenis/masters-… 📸 Dan Hamilton
With Carlos not withdrawing yet, Im assuming they want to wait to see how recharged he is after the holidays and they will make a decision tomorrow.
The ATP deserves this for being greedy. Carlos probably next.
Toronto update: OUT: Sinner, Draper, Djokovic IN: Carballes Baena, Ofner, Safiullin Next: Kovacevic
Carlos wants breaks. Is 1 week of holidays enough for a clean break or he needs 2 weeks? What happened last year cant happen this year.
Why would he not play?
Guessing that we will have some news on if he plays Toronto or not when Carlos returns from holidays. Guessing on Monday or Tuesday.
