Look closer. It's also the only Lost SOUL dialogue that shakes & waves. AND doesn't use his sound font. This does happen with minor encounters in certain areas of the game, but its placement here (and replacement after we SAVE him) feels very emotionally charged. Man was crying.
(9/15/2015) In the Asriel Dreemurr boss fight in Undertale, Sans will use the regular Undertale font before he is saved. When he is saved, he goes back to using Comic Sans. This strangely does not happen with Papyrus.
I like drawing Mettatons chest plate lile this for Jessica rabbit reasons obviously but also because I like that combining it with the point of his middle piece makes a BIG heart
Undertale really did save like… hundreds of lives, huh?

I think the funniest part about this is that papyrus is like literally the only npc in the game that straight up CANNOT kill you. Killing papyrus is a purely hateful act that u cant justify to sans as self defense 😭
