What is the risk in "sanewashing"? I don't get it. At most you're saying authoritarianism has a logic—if the authoritarians turn out to actually just be insane who exactly gets hurt. At least you tried to prepare. Even the id has a structure. Was Lacan a sanewasher? Wtf.
Mind you, I don’t think drastically reducing AI cheating in college would be that hard, but doing so requires a characteristic in short supply among higher ed leadership ❗️
