The Lagos State Government has renamed several Igbo-themed streets including Iwu Lane, Charly Boy Bus Stop, Ifeanyi, Anosike, Mba, Imo-Eze, Emordi, Ebubedike, Eze, and Ben Onyeka Streets in the Bariga and Ajeromi areas without any justification. What could be their motivation?
Another election is coming, they will ask you to leave their state again, terrorize you and intimidate you. Now they are changing streets name, when will y”all get the memo? They don’t want you in their state. Dear igbos make una leave their Lagos for them!!!
Lagos is a South-West state, if Nigeria were to divide today, Lagos would go with Oduduwa land. Investing in Lagos state doesn’t automatically make you part of it. You’re the mugu, not them. Igbos go to your own region and invest heavily. Build where you truly belong.
