I am genuinely curious what share of humanities students at elite colleges (or faculty!) could pass an Ideological Turing Test and clearly articulate the positive take on neoliberalism and economic growth. It's not a very good education if they can't.
I'm worried about universities. We *have to* be seen as neutral, truth-seeking, unbiased, rigorous; if not, public support will continue to fall. Floating around today was Columbia's core curriculum "Contemporary Civilizations". Here is the *entire* post-1865 reading list: 1/10
