Overwatch announced the start date of the trial weekend for the next support hero, Wuyang. It will take place from August 14 to 18. Wuyang is going to be a hybrid support, with "fluid healing, graceful mobility, and a steep learning curve."

From July 29 to August 25, Overwatch players will be rewarded for playing with a pre-made group. Complete 2, 4, and 6 games with a group to unlock up to three Loot Boxes.

From August 1 to August 3, Junkrat’s Loot Hunt is returning to Overwatch 2, allowing players to unlock a total of 9 loot boxes, 3 a day, simply by completing 2,5 and 10 matches every day.

The Season 17 mid-season update for Overwatch 2 just went live, including the reworked Flashpoint maps and a big set of balancing changes for the core kits, perks, and Stadium.
