Pres. @MelindaJPerson joined @SUNY Chancellor John B. King Jr. for a visit to @SUNYSchenectady to celebrate SUNY Reconnect, which will provide free community college for adults age 25 to 55. The tour highlighted the Air Traffic Control degree, which now includes CTI Status.
Starting this fall: Smartphones in the classroom → out. Focus, growth, and real connection → in.
Happy #ThrowbackThursday! Today we’re looking back on last year’s Local Action Project as we head into this year’s conference next week. Launched in 1997, the program helps locals build strength by fostering greater member involvement and forging stronger community bonds.

As part of our latest Social Justice Academy, members took part in a day of local activism and volunteered at Capital District Latinos! There, they helped organized clothing, gardened and learned all about the outreach work being done to help communities in the Capital Region.
