"As lacrosse comes back to the Olympics for the first time in more than 100-years, it would only be appropriate to include a team representing the nation that created the game." wamc.org/2025-07-22/nys…
Bail reform has emboldened criminals & made our cities chaos. The evidence is all around. There are offenders walking free w/ hundreds of arrests, enabled by NY Democrats. We're grateful to have partners in DC willing to join the fight against NY lunacy. foxnews.com/politics/trump…
Glad to hear this is where the state’s priorities are– because in New York State, the first order of business is always making sure the criminals are coddled.
Starting next month, all phone calls from New York state prisons will be free. The state says stronger family connections help reduce conflict behind bars. NYC jails have been doing this since 2019. cbsloc.al/3SDTr7V
Nobody is interested in nothing statements that dodge responsibility. It’s why last week members of our Conference called for an immediate, impartial investigation into this debacle. Whoever it may be that’s responsible for the waste and fraud must be held accountable.
In response to Post report that a PPL employee was believed to have routed funds for home health aides to fraudulent accounts, the company sent this message to CDPAP facilitators last week, per sources: Background: nypost.com/2025/07/15/us-…
“New York’s financial woes stem not from the decisions of the federal Congress and President Trump, but from a bloated budget and corrupt process completely out of line with the needs of real New Yorkers.” - @MarkWalczyk post-journal.com/news/top-stori…
Legalizing cannabis was a background deal that ignored the input from law enforcement, DAs and public health officials statewide. Now 4 yrs later, the impacts of this botched roll out are putting not just people, but our children at risk.
"I'm seeing younger and younger kids," said one treatment center provider. "And parents caring less." lohud.com/story/news/hea…
Soft on crime & pro immigrant policies have made NYS a breeding ground for criminal behavior– who would’ve thought? Albany Dems have enabled this behavior, & in doing so fanned the flames of chaos Our thoughts are with the wounded officer during this time nydailynews.com/2025/07/20/cus…
“This deeply troubling development underscores what many of us have long feared: that the CDPAP transition, and the broader administration of New York’s Medicaid program, suffer from systemic mismanagement and a lack of accountability” ny1.com/nyc/all-boroug…
In spite of a mass exodus from NYS, since 2018 the state’s budget has increased a staggering $84 billion to a total of $254 billion this past year. The signs are clear, but democrats in Albany seem content with spending the state into the ground. nypost.com/2025/07/17/us-…
“Democrats in Albany recklessly enacted a bloated $254b budget, so the fact they are now fearmongering over a $750 million Medicaid gap (a mere .3 percent of the overall budget) is laughable" -@SenatorOrtt news10.com/news/ny-democr…
The thought of Mamdani as Mayor has New Yorkers seeking therapy, though I’d suggest a better therapist… nypost.com/2025/07/16/us-…
"there is no plan other than these expensive mandates and taking away reliable forms of energy. This is something we've been calling for since the CLCPA has passed, and we have been saying that this isn't going to work." - @SenatorBorrello wkbw.com/news/local-new…
🗞️Yesterday Members of our Conference sent a letter to Investigations & Gov Ops Committee Chair @JamesSkoufis, urging him to exercise his authority as chair to issue subpoenas to the leadership of Public Partnerships, LLC (PPL) & the Hochul Admin w/ regard to the CDPAP transition

How about New York State starts with doing a better job of assisting New Yorkers with disabilities that haven't been convicted of a crime. But maybe that’s too crazy of an idea. empirereportnewyork.com/new-york-must-…
Can’t stop, won’t stop for madman Mamdani and his pro-socialist, anti-business agenda for a worse New York City. nypost.com/2025/07/15/us-…
The recent report by @NYSComptroller highlights that farmers are struggling & the aid promised to them through the Farmland Protection Program is bottlenecked. These inefficiencies are unacceptable & are deteriorating our agricultural industry. spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/buffalo/ne…
