A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a collision with a car. We were called to Alfreton Road, Underwood, shortly before 8pm on Sunday. The rider, a man in his 30s, was injured. The road is due to stay closed through the night. Any info call 101 - inc 609 of 20 July.

In an update to the previous post, the northbound carriageway of the M1 from Junction 25 to Junction 26 has now been closed. The M1 remains open southbound. Motorists are being diverted and drivers are advised to seek alternative routes.

A junction of the M1 is shut after a serious road traffic collision. The northbound and southbound slip roads at Nuthall Interchange Junction 26 of the M1 will remain closed for some time. The A610 from Nuthall Interchange to the roundabout with Woodhouse Way is also shut.

Police have arrested seven men after reports of a fight with weapons in the street. A cordon is in place at the junction of Alfreton Road and Raleigh Street in Nottingham and will remain closed for some time. The public are advised to avoid the area while inquiries continue.

We have closed the A617 Kirklington Road at Bilsthorpe after a collision involving two vans and a car. The road closure is expected to remain in place for some time. No-one has sustained any life-threatening injuries. Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.

Update: Roads have reopened after a collision in Weekday Cross. A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening following a collision with a tram at 10.15am.
