Before being picked as Jack Ciattarelli's Lt. Gov. nominee earlier today, in his last contested election, Sheriff James Gannon defeated Morris County Undersheriff William Schievella by nearly 18 points.

In his last contested election, Gannon won by nearly 19 points. Map coming tonight
New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli has selected Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, a veteran law enforcement official from Rep. Mikie Sherrill’s district, as the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor, @wildstein is reporting.
Jersey Shore Blue brought the energy in Spring Lake tonight!! Thank you for your relentless grassroots work and for building the kind of broad, people-powered coalition that make real change possible. We’ve got just over 100 days left, so let’s get it done.
Dems flipped the seat back in 2024 despite Trump carrying the county btw
Before Trump won Passaic County last year, the last time the county went red was in 2021. Incumbent Assad Akhter was defeated by Nicolino Gallo in a closely watched race in which Akhter's running mates won, but he lost 1/2
Everywhere Mikie went this July 4th weekend. To my knowledge, Jack only personally appeared at a July 4th parade in Tuckerton on Friday.
Our team ended our Fourth of July weekend celebrations with a stop at the Atlantic Highlands Fireman’s Fair. Thank you so much to Mayor Hohenleitner for taking me around and letting me get in on the fun at the carnival games!
Very Early Prediction. Governor - Lean D Assembly Control - Safe D

Hi Tom, deleted for a typo. Happy to repost and call you out again. @AndyKimNJ is absolutely right. Support for the Republican price hike bill is a betrayal of New Jersey taxpayers, as it reinstates the SALT cap just as it was set to expire. But you and @Jack4NJ are too scared…
How it started: How it’s going: I rest my case.
Didn't know the Big Beautiful Bill was Italian
Republicans may lie about what's in their budget bill but the numbers sure don't.
This is what happens when you only campaign in the Philly media market. Maps by @joeymdfox

Joey Fox mapped out the Democratic and Republican gubernatorial primaries, and they are must-reads. newjerseyglobe.com/governor/for-d…
The 2025 NJ Gubernatorial Primary, a comfortable clinching of the nomination for CD-11 Rep Mikie Sherrill saw her beat back a large conglomeration of political heavy hitters in the state to win the 2025 Democratic nomination for NJ's Governorship
Get ready folks, @Jack4NJ is going to lie about me throughout this entire campaign. Because he's the type of career politician who will say anything to get ahead. While I’m focused on New Jersey, he’s talking about New York City to distract from his 100% MAGA stamp of approval…
I want @votebergen to react to this the same way he reacted to "Kimchi Day"
State Sen. Michael Testa (R-Cumberland), whose county borders Delaware Bay, wants to pull a Trump and rename it Bay of New Jersey.
Me when I lie. No, but really though. This is so unbelievably false. Can someone community note this?
Mikie Sherrill is endorsing a socialist, antisemite, and defund the police extremist, which is shocking, even for her. That Mikie supports bringing Mamdani’s ‘playbook’ to New Jersey is even worse. Sherrill and Mamdani want to raise taxes to give away free stuff to criminals…

2025 New Jersey Democratic Gubernatorial Primary in New Jersey's 11th Congressional District

Just finishing up a map of the 2025 Dem primary in NJ-11. If my math is correct, only 16.6% of Sherrill's votes came from the district she currently represents.
The 2025 NJ LD-34 Dem primary, a contest between incumbents Carmen Morales, and Michael Venezia and Democrats for Change candidates former East Orange councilwoman Brittany Claybrooks and Belleville Councilman Frank Vélez saw Morales comfortably win renomination,
