Answer to last week's case: Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis. Variant of chronic cholecystitis with lipid laden inflammation. Note diffuse wall thickening with hypoechoic intramural nodules and continuous mucosal line. No hepatic invasion or biliary dilatation.
