We spent some time this week alongside @GardaTraffic colleagues with Warren Lysaght from NSW police force on his visit to learn about #Nitazenes and collaborative responses. Warren visited a number of services in Dublin and had a day of discussion with a range of stakeholders

We don’t know what the pills were bought as, implicated in 2 deaths & 1 hospitalisation last weekend, but we do know they came home from clubbing & we do know they took nitazene pills very similar to ones tested by The Loop 2 months ago. Test & take care, whatever pills you take.

The ‘doing gender-doing drugs’ team! Had a great time @ClubHconference hanging out with academic & #TEDI #DrugChecking colleagues, with this bunch reminded me just how long ago that paper was written. (They proposed I write a 2nd edition. Hmm... 🧐)

Excellent @ClubHconference, including @nickikilleen describing the #harmreduction benefits of 3 years of ‘Back of House’ onsite drug testing, based on @WeAreTheLoopUK model. 58% of survey respondents report being willing to surrender drugs to a Back of House testing service.

Delighted that Ireland is represented in this review for the first time through sample collection from UCD School of Bimolecular and Biomedical Science with support from The SCORE network. This approach will help us better understand new and emerging trends in Ireland over time.
