Changing career & joining the railway this year was a big risk & not a decision I took lightly. Never doubted it was the right decision for 1 second but today, if confirmation were needed, it really was the best decision I ever made. I just found this in Austins school books 🥹

I can’t believe I have been nominated, let alone shortlisted, for a National Rail Award for Outstanding Personal Contribution. It only feels like yesterday that @S26PHY and I watched our friend @birdsnestsblog win the same award in 2022. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 💖

The authorities are thinking of doing away with @ofwat why not do away with @ofcom at the same time and have an organisation which consists of people who actually broadcast plus administrators. I don’t believe that those of us who “actually” broadcast are ever heard or contribute…
