Researchers including DMSE’s Polina Anikeeva and grad student Ye Ji Kim have discovered that magnetic nanodiscs could provide less invasive brain stimulation, paving the way for stimulation therapies without implants or genetic modification. @AnikeevaLab buff.ly/4f0tYh4

seriously there is NOTHING WRONG with saying that a manuscript is fine as it is and does not need further changes! I think half the problem with peer review is that we all feel under pressure to find flaws, however minor, to show we are doing our jobs.
ichinomiya-h.jp/2024/07/24/%e7…
I visited OIST yesterday and felt it’s one of the best research institutes in Japan. Huge thanks to @Y0ist_2019 for the fantastic tour!🙏 I will be at #Neuro2024 from today. See you there~
I'll be visiting OIST on 7/23! Unfortunately, the campus tour was cancelled for that day. But I'm already excited just looking at the campus maps with "イオン" in the village area 📈
Happy to announce that two papers on the bridge RNA-guided IS110 recombinase have been published in Nature! Many thanks for the wonderful collaboration with @pdhsu. nature.com/articles/s4158… nature.com/articles/s4158…

I’m planning to visit OIST this July after Neuro2024, probably alone.

I’m taking a class at Harvard this semester! It’s nice to have multiple intellectual homes:)

Our new paper is out today in @NatureNano! We explored the use of molecular machines to control cellular calcium signaling. Check out the paper here: nature.com/articles/s4156… Video: A calcium wave triggered by a molecular machine in a small invertebrate called a Hydra.
We also use BrightHorizons in Cambridge MA. A discounted tuition rate for MIT community is applied, but it still costs >$1,000/month for ONLY TWO DAYS A WEEK!!!
