A great new paper just out from the team at the EIL @uclchemeng on the effect of cracking on electrode performance at different rates of discharge using X-ray computed tomography and electrochemical analysis. doi.org/10.1002/batt.2… @FaradayInst #battery

Accepted! The words we love to hear. We created a new bilayer cathode for lithium-ion batteries using NMC and LFP in 2 separate layers and explained the increased capacity with a new model - the Multilayer Doyle-Fuller-Newman Model (M-DFN). iopscience.iop.org/article/10.114…
