It has been a busy time lately – we celebrated Aamir’s marriage and met his wife, welcomed our new technician Daniel to the team, and the group demonstrated their athletic prowess in the Mülheim company run. Also lots of chemistry of course :-)

A growing assumption is that using tetrafluoroborate as a counterion for diazonium salts results in safe and stable salts. This assumption is not generally true, as also BF4-salts of aryldiazoniums have been reported to explode! Stay safe! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
