You're all wrong. Autism is caused by inflation (R^2 of 0.976). And to be clear, NGDP targeting would fix this.
This is not coincidence. Autism is driven by organic food sales.
Rubio wouldn't support Vance over Trump in a million years, it would lead a massively neo-isolationist foreign policy.
Re-upping this in light of JD Vance’s two recent meetings with Rupert Murdoch. Standing by my original prediction.
When Russia invaded Ukraine, GPT 3.5 (precursor to ChatGPT) had not come out yet. Odds on whether we get AGI before the war ends?
The Chinese Communist Revolution violently expropriated the relatively well-to-do, and left their children worse off. Yet, one generation later the same inequality had returned. The difference was that the grandchildren of the rich worked harder and had better values! 1/
Bernanke was right. There was no housing bubble
2005 Fed Chair Ben Bernanke: There is no housing bubble 2007 Fed Chair Ben Bernanke: Subprime will be contained 2021 Fed Chair Jerome Powell: Inflation is transitory (that’s why we are still running a trillion dollars + of QE) It’s important to realise - the national treasure of…
Surprisingly reasonable

So close to getting it
It is surprisingly hard to avoid both woke libtard cuck and mechahitler! Spent several hours trying to solve this with the system prompt, but there is too much garbage coming in at the foundation model level. Our V7 foundation model should be much better, as we’re being far…
Completely idiotic statement. There's only been 34 years since the Cold War ended. There hasn't been enough time to "produce" people. But there are major thinkers who became prominent post-1991: Krugman Nussbaum Acemoglu Fearon Mearsheimer (yes) Wendt West Laitin list goes on
Thread: I’ve said it before: the US hasn’t produced a serious thinker since the USSR fell. And now I know why. Ironically, Cold War intellectuals were sharper because they were state-funded. When the state withdrew, privatized chaos took over—and thinking collapsed with it.
low-key giving "Carl Schmitt liberal" vibes
Yeah, I do. I want to decolonize the Chinese and Russian empires while leaving every Western democratic country intact. Problem?
Trick question. Everyone knows that Georgian taxi drivers and Georgian politics PhDs are the exact same people
You also thought DOGE would balance the budget
I told you we were going back to all-time highs on April 3rd. The fear-mongerers look ridiculous as predicted.
Again, this misses the mark. There is no way to end the war as is *because Russia is advancing*. Even if you cut all aid to Ukraine, the war will go on and get worse. If you want to stop the war, help Ukraine enough to stop Russian advances. Then you might get a ceasefire.
Where were you, anon, when you took the Ukraine flag off your bio? I think for many of us, it's when we realized that there are two wars going on...the propaganda war in the western media full of feel-good stories of plucky Ukrainian resilience and the actual war on the ground,…
Angelica's facts are right, but analysis is wrong. Issue is that Russia currently opposes a ceasefire along current lines *because they are advancing*. If you help Ukraine enough to stop Russia's progress, then you can get them to agree to a reasonable ceasefire. Otherwise not.
I really don’t understand what the point of this is. Everybody can see that Ukraine is getting completely cooked right? Yes very true the Russians are advancing very slowly (although faster than before) but this is a war of attrition. You’re not going after the kilometer squares…
Is there any type of district that Musk's party stands a chance in? Democrats won't vote for Musk-ians, so blue districts are a no-go. In battleground districts he'll just split the right-wing vote. Is there some type of red spot where he could conceivably beat Republicans?

many of these are not just consistent with, but derive from standard neoclassical economics paradox of thrift - dynamic inefficiency (capital higher than golden rule level) paradox of costs - productivity increases cause this etc.
Nice summary of Keynesian macro paradoxes: why microeconomic morals don't match macroeconomic outcomes.
