Arrived today and have skimmed the introduction Houghton follows reasoned eclecticism, is favorable towards the CBGM, is against text-types, covers 1232 variant units, still has letter ratings And it's not a reporting of the UBS6 committee decisions, but Houghton's own work

If someone wants to get started with the church fathers, what’s the easiest way? I recommend Athanasius’s On the Incarnation. C. S. Lewis’s intro to the book makes it less intimidating. Someone suggested Basil on the Holy Spirit or Chrysostom on marriage
